Just Became Better
Zachry Nuclear Engineering (ZNE) has added CSA, Inc. to our Numerical Applications
Division. CSA’ s experience spans more than 25 years of developing reactor
simulation software and training plant engineering staŠ in complex analysis codes.
NAI + CSA = UNPARALLELED SOURCE FOR ANALYSIS SUPPORT AND SOFTWARE
ZNE’s engineering, design, and project management services include nuclear power
plant system analysis and investigation, evaluation of code and regulatory compliance,
conceptual design and feasibility studies, and design of plant upgrades. ZNE is an
analysis leader with our software used in more than 90 percent of the U.S. nuclear
fleet. In 2011, we acquired Numerical Applications, Inc. (NAI). With the 2015 addition
of CSA, Inc., our oŠerings include:
GOTHIC™* Analysis Code: Industry standard for critical operating assessments
including LOCA and HELB containment.
RADTRAD-NAI: Our version of the code developed by the NRC for radiological
dose analysis.
RETRAN-3D*: A light water reactor system transient thermal-hydraulic
analysis program.
VIPRE-01*: A detailed reactor core sub-channel analysis code to evaluate fuel
pin thermal margins.
Proto-SERIES: includes Proto-FLO™, Proto-HX™, Proto-HVAC™, Proto- Sprinkler™:
CentralStor™: A software system for controlling on-line managed storage.
CSA’s LEGACY CONTINUES
CSA’s commitment to RETRAN and VIPRE Users Groups continues, including working
with EPRI to promote use of the software. The new relationship brings expanded
access to software development and code application resources and adds CSA
support to NAI/Zachry projects. CSA will continue its Quality Assurance Program and
will still operate code maintenance under the current NQA-1 compliant QA program.
